Village Election Set for Tuesday

Candidates are seeking positions Tuesday in the villages of Huntington Bay.

Mayor Herb Morrow, who has served 10 terms, is seeking re-election. His challenger is Elizabeth Wood.

Morrow has supported "secure pay for the mayor, trustees, the road and police commissioners, and zoning board members," which has prompted Wood to run agains him, Newsday reported.

Polls are open between noon and 9 p.m., at the Huntington Bay village hall.
