Due to a problem with a vendor, delivery of the Town of Huntington’s trash pickup and recycling calendar has been delayed. Most residents should receive their copy by this Saturday.
Residents desiring an immediate copy can pick one up at Town Hall or at their local library circulation desks. They can also view the calendar on the Town’s website at http://huntingtonny.gov/permit_pics/1320.pdf.
This is the collection schedule for the remainder of this week:
- Residents with Tuesday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Wednesday.
- Paper and cardboard recycling will be done on Thursday, January 3 for all residents.
- Residents with Thursday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Friday.
- Residents with Friday garbage routes will be collected on Saturday, January 5th.
Trash and recycling collection can begin as early as 6 a.m., so please put items out before this time.
