Tulip Festival Set for May 1
11th annual event features exhibits and lots and lots of tulips.
Huntington's 11th annual tulip festival is set for May 1.
Each year, the festival features performances, art exhibits, demonstrations and children's activities. And 20,000 tulips.
Community agencies are invited to participate if their activities have a floral or gardening theme, or are related to the festival's Heckscher Park setting. Applications for either commercial booths or purely informational booths/displays should NOT be submitted.

The town will also run a shuttle to the sheep to shawl festival presented by the Huntington Historical Society at the 1795 Dr. Daniel W. Kissam House Museum, 423 Park Avenue, Huntington.
