There is no town trash collection on Tuesday, though there will be pickups on Monday.
The pick up schedule after the holiday has moved back one day for the entire week:
- Residents with Tuesday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Wednesday.
- Paper and cardboard recycling will be done on Thursday for all residents.
- Residents with Thursday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Friday.
- Residents with Friday garbage routes will be collected on Saturday.
Residents should start receiving their trash pickup and recycling calendars. If one hasn't been received by the end of the first week of January, complete a service request or call the Sanitation Hotline at 631-351-3186.

The town mails calendars every December to over 58,000 homes townwide. Hardcopies are currently available at Town Hall and will be available at the Circulation Desk of your local library after Jan.1.
