Berland Makes 'Nutcracker' Appearance

Long Island Ballet Theater stages weekend shows at the Long Island High School For The Arts.

The Long Island Ballet Theatre capped off four recent shows with a special perfomer at a matinee show Saturday at the Long Island High School For The Arts in Syosset.

In full costume, Huntington member Susan Berland made an appearance in the first scene of the first act in character as a guest at the Gala Christmas party at the Stahlbaum home.

In a press release before the show, Berland said it would be a pleasure to participate in the Long Island Ballet Theatre’s production of "The Nutcracker."
