Rosen to Leave Town Planning Board
Lawyer won't be reappointed by the Huntington Town Board.
Avrum Rosen, a member of the Huntington Town Planning Board, anounced Monday night that he would not serve on the board much longer. Wednesday, in fact, is his last day.
Speaking at in a Town Board meeting room packed with people wanting to talk about and a 7-Eleven proposed in Centerport, Rosen commented that he was soon to be a former member.
Asked afterward, the lawyer said he had received a call Monday morning telling him he would not be reappointed for another term and Wednesday would be his last meeting. Appointments are made by the Town Board.
