Assemb. Andrew Raia has endorsed candidate Herb Morrow for the Huntington Town Board.
Raia, R-East Northport, said it has been a pleasure to work with Morrow, the 17-year Republican mayor of Huntington Bay, for many years.
"In our town government we need a proven leader, someone who will strengthen Huntington and provide the fiscal responsibility that Huntington’s families deserve, said Raia, in a release. "I know that Herb Morrow is exactly the leader that Huntington needs and will always put our community’s concerns above all."
Morrow thanked the 9th District Assemblyman in a press release.
"Thank you Assemblyman Raia for your continued dedication and service to the citizens of Huntington and the 9th Assembly District and for your support of my campaign," said Morrow.
Morrow is running against Democrats Susan Berland and Glenda Jackson, fellow Republican Eugene Cook and write-in candidate Peter Nichols for two seats on the Town Board.
The election is Nov. 8
