Mayoka to Seek New Term

Republican announces run for second Town Board term.

Town Councilman Mark Mayoka announced Thursday that he plans to run for second term.

Mayoka, a Republican, made the announcement in a brief press release emailed in late afternoon.

He said, "It is a tremendous honor for me to serve as Councilman for the Town of Huntington. I’m honored and humbled that the people of Huntington have elected me in the past, and my hope is that I have earned their trust for another term. I will be seeking re-election to Town Council this November..."

He has regularly done battle with the Democrats on the board since taking office in January 2010, including the former day laborer site, financial controls, the Avalon housing development and access to information.

Maybe 4 for $100 or 2 for $60. They were looked at by a store owner who wanted to purchase and sell in her store for $50 each. They are very cute, very trendy :)

I would love to become part of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. However, for a new business itRead More is costly and may not fit into every new business owners budget. May I suggest a provisional 1-year membership at a reduced cost. Once successful the provisional members can give back by supporting other new members.
