LIRR Working on Huntington Line

MTA says work focuses on four largest branches.

The Long Island Rail Road said Friday it is providing hourly service on its four busiest branches,  Port Washington, Port Jefferson from Huntington to Penn Station, Ronkonkoma  and  Babylon branches.

Service is available on the North Shore in Nassau and Suffolk, down the center of Long Island through to Ronkonkoma and and along the South Shore through to Babylon. The LIRR said work is focused on returning service to the LIRR’s four largest branches – Port Washington, Ronkonkoma, Babylon and Huntington.
