Track Work Could Delay LIRR Service

One track out of service between Huntington and Syosset.

Huntington switch work and tie replacement prep work will require one Long Island Railroad track to be taken out of service between Syosset and Huntington in the midday on weekdays, according to the LIRR.

The LIRR's Huntington and Port Jefferson branch trains have been adjusted between one and 20 minutes to accommodate work, according to the LIRR.

Timetables are available May 14 at the LIRR’s major terminals and at local stations or consult the LIRR schedules and fares page on the LIRR website.
