Library Trustee Petitions and School Boards

Better hustle: it's Monday and things are hopping.

1. If you want a seat on the board, you have until 4 p.m. today to turn in petitions bearing 25 signatures. One five-year term is open. Petitions are available at the District Clerk's Office, 50 Tower Street, Huntington Station, 631-673-2126. 

2. Huntington Patch is looking for more Whiz Kids. Watch for our feature on a young actress later today.

3.  Throw out those old schedules--new ones went into effect today.

4. The meets tonight at Jack Abrams, 7:30 p.m.

5. The invites teachers to use the center as an educational resource for junior and senior high school classes.
