Hurricane Seminar Scheduled
South Huntington Library session to cover on disaster preparation.
The anniversary of Superstorm Sandy is about five weeks away, and local officials are reminding people to prepare for the next big storm.
Assemb. Chad Lupinacci, R-Huntington Station, and the Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management, will host a seminar Tuesday on where to find up-to-date information on hurricane preparedness and safety.
The program at the South Huntington Public Library is set to begin at 7 p.m., and is free.
