Candidates, voters are out and about on Election Day

Some candidates were out looking for last-minute votes Tuesday while voters will casting ballots for several key town and Suffolk County legislative candidates.

Elizabeth Black, running for the 18th Legislative District, headed to a gathering of Republican Party leaders in Smithtown after campaigning in Huntington earlier in the day. Her Democratic opponent, Dr. William Spencer, was in Centeport and else where, talking to voters. 

Meanwhile, many voters were at polling places around Huntington, choosing one county legislator, two Town Board members and a receiver of taxes. Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia was on the ballot but is unopposed.
