Forum to Help Businesses Recover from Storms

Mayoka to lead panel to help small businesses.

A workshop on helping small businesses recover and survive Hurricane Sandy is scheduled for Wednesday at Town Hall.

The Small Business Workshop will be moderated by Councilman Mark Mayoka, CPA.  It will feature a panel of business survival experts providing advice and direction to help owners get through the crisis.

Participants are invited to "Share stories, ideas, and strategies and together we can help Huntington recover," Mayoka said. "In addition, we will be collecting donations of non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, work gloves, and batteries for Hurricane Sandy victims."

Registration for the free event opens at 8:30 a.m., with the program running from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
