Three Democrats seeking to replace Suffolk County Legislator Jon Cooper will debate each other Thursday.
Cooper cannot run again because of term limits.
The candidates are: James Kelly, Steven Rossetti and Dr. William Spencer. Each candidate will make an opening statement and then will answer questions from a moderator.
The Democratic Party meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Mill Dam and New York Avenue, Halesite.
