Parts of road between Oakwood and Route 110 are closed.

Suffolk County is replacing water main lines on Pulaski Road, a project that is expected to last a few more weeks.

Workers  were busy at the intersection of Third Avenue and Pulaski on Friday but said the project could continue to head west on Pulaski to Oakwood Road.

Water service remains unaffected but the newer mains are expected to improve water pressure, they said.

Access from Oakwood Road was limited Friday and blocked completely from New York Avenue.
