Cergol to Run Community Development Agency

Two Huntington departments consolidated.

Joan Cergol was sworn in last week as director of the Community Development Agency in Huntington.

The CDA and the Economic Development Corp., of which she served as  executive director were consolidated into one department. Doug Aloise, who previously ran the CDA, left town government at the end of the year.

Cergol was previously involved in such projects as the demolition of a garage to create a mixed-use retail plaza at New York Avenue and Olive Street.

poor thing, more work, less pay. She should run as fast as she can away from Petrone.

Great appointment by Mr. Petrone and the town board. Congratulations and best of luck to Ms. Cergol.

Jesus Christ! If she was given a raise, you would've complained about it and about how your money is being wasted. Is nothing ever good enough for you? I feel sorry for your husband - if he hasn't already bailed on you!
