Woman Hurt After Falling Into Hatch
Victim falls four feet into crawl space on New Street.
A woman was injured Monday when she fell through an open hatch on New Street.
The Huntington Community First Aid Squad treated the woman, who fell about four feet to the floor of a crawl space in front of La Notte Ristorante at 15 New St.
She was treated on scene for an injured right knee and left hand. She was removed from the crawl space and taken to Huntington Hospital by the squad.
Also responding to the accident were Suffolk police, the Huntington Manor Fire Department, the town fire marshal and the Huntington Fire Department.
