Woman Arrested in Pharmacy Robbery

Narcotics taken from Huntington Station drugstore.

A Huntington Station woman is under arrest, charged with robbing a pharmacy Friday.

Suffolk County police said Tina Alfani gave a clerk at Stat Script Pharmacy a note demanding narcotic drugs. The clerk and the pharmacist complied, and she fled on foot. No one was injured.

Second Precinct patrol officers found hera short time later and arrested her.   Alfani, 55,  was charged with third-degree robbery, criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.

Alfani is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
