Car, Truck Collide on Jericho Turnpike

Landscaper vehicle overturns but no major injuries reported.

A landscaping truck overturned Wednesday morning after a collision with a car in Huntington Station.

A late-model sedan was making a left turn from Engelke Avenue when it collided with the truck, which was eastbound on Jericho Turnpike. Contents of the truck spilled onto Jericho and traffic backed up in both directions.

The accident occurred near the Tattoo Lou's shop, which was closed for several months after a car hurtled into the building in March.

No major injuries were reported at the scene of Wednesday's accident.
