S. Huntington TD Bank Robbed

Police say man threatened to use a gun Tuesday.

The TD Bank on Jericho Turnpike was robbed Tuesday about 5 p.m.

Police gave the following account:

A man entered the bank at 1040 Jericho Turnpike about 5 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening to use a gun. The teller complied with the demands and the man fled the scene on foot south on Dix Hills Road.

The amount of money taken was not known.

The subject is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and wearing a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, dark sunglasses and a white Nike hat.

Suffolk County Police Major Case Investigations Unit detectives are investigating. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.

If I had a $100 for everytime that specific TD has been robbed I'd be a rich woman, well at least $1000 richer anyway.
