Suffolk Police Incidents: Oil Tanker Stolen; Large Fight

Incidents reported in the second precinct between May 28 and 31.

The following incidents were reported by the Suffolk County Police in the second precinct between May 28 and 31.

  • A Freightliner oil tanker containing 200 gallons of home heating oil was stolen from 152 Railroad Street in Huntington Station. The truck was later located in Greenlawn with some of the fuel pumped out.
  • The passenger side window of a van was smashed in and the ignition damaged at 168 Railroad Street in Huntington Station.
  • Someone kicked in the front door of a residence on Dickinson Avenue in East Northport, creating a large crack.
  • A woman reported that her son was hit during a large fight of about 20 people on West 10th Street in Huntington Station.
  • A man driving on New York Avenue got out of his car and began yelling at another driver while kicking and punching his car. The man then got back into his car and left.
  • An intoxicated man reportedly yelled at and threatened another man on West Hills Road in Huntington Station.
