Suffolk Police Incidents: Fist Fights; Threats

Incidents reported in the second precinct between May 20 and 28.

The following incidents were reported by the Suffolk County Police in the second precinct between May 20 and 28.

  • A woman reported her wallet stolen from her purse in Walt Whitman Mall after her credit card company called her reporting fraudulent charges on her credit card.
  • A resident of Shore Road in Huntington reported a phone scam wherein someone reported that his/her relative had been in an accident and demanded money.
  • A man reportedly threatened to kill another man on Hills Road in Huntington Station. 
  • After hearing loud banging on their front door, a Horton Drive resident in South Huntington reportedly opened their door to see no one outside and his/her mailbox missing. 
  • A Taco Bell employee on new York Avenue in Huntington Station reported a robbery, then refused to provide information when the police arrived.
  • An argument between two men escalated into a physical fight on East 6th Street in Huntington Station.
  • A male employee reportedly physically assaulted a female employee at Chili's on Jericho Turnpike in Elwood.
  • A man punched another man in the face on Elm Street in Huntington.
  • Someone attempted to break into the e-Spot machine in Macy's in Walt Whitman Mall which dispenses Apple products.
  • A woman punched another woman in the face with a closed fist in the parking lot of USA gas on New york Avenue in Huntington. 
  • Two women got into a fist fight at Laundry Palace on New York Avenue in Huntington Station. One of the women was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
