Suffolk Police Incidents: Chest Slashing; Power Tools Stolen

The following incidents were reported by the Suffolk Police Department in the second precinct between July 31 and Aug. 5.

A car windshield was smashed in the Huntington LIRR parking lot on Aug. 5.

A man was punched in the face in the parking lot of CVS on Depot Road in Huntington Station on Aug. 6. He required medical treatment. 

Power tools such as a backpack blower and a weed whacker were stolen from a backyard shed on Greenlawn Road in Huntington on July 30.

A second degree grand larceny was reported on East 3rd Street in Huntington Station on Aug. 5.

A second story bedroom window on Clay Pitts Road in East Northport was broken into by pushing in an air conditioner on Aug. 3 and cash, clothes and credit cards stolen.

A man was slashed in the chest with a knife while standing on Pulaski Road in Huntington Station on Aug. 4. He required treatment at the hospital.

The windshield and passenger window were damaged on a Lexus parked in the parking lot on Lenox Road in Huntington Station.

An assault occurred on New York Avenue in Huntington Station on Aug. 2.

A woman received three threatening phone calls from another woman in Huntington Station on Aug. 3.

A home on East 24th Street in Huntington Station was burglarized on July 31. The perp stole cash.

An Elwood man received a scam call from a man demanding cash and saying that his brother was in car accident. His brother was fine.
