Suffolk Police Arrests: Ear Biting; Assault

Arrests reported in the second precinct between July 31 and Aug. 7

The following arrests were reported in the Suffolk Police second precinct between July 31 and Aug. 7. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A Dix Hills man was arrested in Huntington following a hit and run incident on Old Country Road and Route 110 in Melville on June 6. 

A Huntington Station man was arrested in Huntington Station on July 27 and charged with leaving the scene of property damage after a hit and run on New York Avenue. 

A Deer Park man was arrested in Huntington on Aug. 4 and charged with breaking the passenger window of car on Clinton Ave and Main Street in Huntington.

A Bayville man was arrested in Huntington on Aug. 3 and charged with fourth degree grand larceny after he allegedly grabbed a cell out of woman's hand on New York Avenue in Huntington.

A Bellport woman was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree assault after biting a man's ear on New Street in Huntington. 

A Huntington Station woman was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with second degree possession of a forged instrument after she allegedly acted in concert with another to use a stolen Visa gift card to purchase an XBox in May. 

A Huntington man was arrested in Huntington on Aug. 2 and charged with third degree assault after he allegedly punched a man in face on New York Avenue. The man suffered a one inch cut and received medical treatment.

A Huntington man was arrested in Huntington Station on Aug. 7 and charged with fifth degree possession of stolen property after he was allegedly found to be in possession of an iPod owned by someone else.
