Suffolk Police Arrest Report: Five Arrested for Bottle Fight; Theft

Second precinct arrests, July 12-18.

The following arrests were reported in the Suffolk Police second precinct between July 12 and 18. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • A Huntington Station woman was arrested on West 11th street in Huntington and charged with reckless endangerment after she intentionally drove her car toward someone.
  • An East Northport man was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree criminal mischief after he allegedly broke someone's cell phone on Carlton Lane in East Northport.
  • A Huntington Station man was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with petty larceny after he allegedly stole property from K-Mart in Huntington Station. 
  • A Selden man and four East Northport men were arrested in Huntington and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon after they allegedly hit and a man in the face with a glass bottle during a fight on Oxbow Court in East Northport on June 22. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. 
  • A West Islip man was arrested in East Northport and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and aggravated unlicensed operation on Larkfield Road after he was found to have a stolen registration sticker on his car and a suspended license during a police checkpoint stop.
  • An Ozone Park woman was arrested in Huntington and charged with petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after she was allegedly found in possession of items from J Jill and two cameras and a pair of headphones allegedly stolen from another mall store. She also allegedly lied to police about who she was and was charged with false personation. 
  • Herrick Gomez from Brentwood was charged with felony DWI after he allegedly drove the wrong way down New Street in Huntington Station at 3:30 a.m.
  • An East Norwich man was arrested in Huntington and charged with DWAI combined drugs and alcohol after he was allegedly found driving the wrong way down East Carver Street in Huntington. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • A Huntington Station man was arrested in Huntington and charged with using a car without consent of the owner. He was also charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer and reckless driving after he fled when police tried to pull him over, running red lights and speeding.
  • A North Babylon woman was arrested in South Huntington and charged with petty larceny after she allegedly stole assorted jewelry from Walt Whitman Mall and was found with brass knuckles in her purse.
