Smoke Sends Finley Students to High School

Greenlawn Fire Department blames smoke from boiler room.

Smoke coming from a boiler room at J. Taylor Finley Middle School led to an evacuation of the building about midday Wednesday.

Greenlawn Fire Department chief Scott Dalrymple said no one was in danger. He said smoke in the boiler room from a circulator blew into the building.

Students were taken to Huntington High School because of some power problems at Finley.
