Reward Offered in Theft of Jeans

Suffolk police say trio stole 28 pairs of jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking three people involved in the theft of several pairs of jeans from a department store in Huntington Station last month. 

A woman placed 28 pairs of jeans in a shopping cart at Nordstrom Rack at 350 Walt Whitman Road, and left the cart in the front of the store at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Two men walked in a short time later and fled with the jeans in the cart.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
