Police Seeking Man Who Stole Jewelry From Macy's

Thief stole jewelry from Macy's in the Walt Whitman Shops, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say stole jewelry from a store in Huntington Station last month.

A man entered Macy’s, located at 160 Walt Whitman Road in the Walt Whitman Shops, and asked a store clerk to see a necklace on Jan. 25 at 6:15 p.m, police said.

The clerk gave him the necklace and the man took it and fled the store without paying, police said.  

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
