Police Report: Issuing a Bad Check, Burglary

Arrests reported in the Suffolk second precinct between May 21 and 27

The following arrests were reported by the Suffolk County Police Department in the second precinct between May 21 to 27. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Daniel Aranda, 18, from Huntington was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury.
  • Jose Castillo, 43, from Huntington Station was arrested in Huntington and charged with leaving an accident and failing to show identification.
  • Derek Loper, 23, from East Northport was arrested in Centerport and charged with second degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
  • Brittany Hamilton, 20, from Hempstead was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury.
  • Marissa Stampolis, 18, from Greenlawn was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with petty larceny.  
  • Frank Ioppolo, Jr, 42, from Huntington Station was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with issuing a bad check.
  • Ismael Maddox, 27, from Jamaica was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with first degree identity theft, obtaining good, and false personation.
  • Colleen Kendrick, 30, from Lake Grove was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree burglary with intent.
