Police: Huntington Station Man Drove Drunk With Two Kids in Car

Duhaney Duncan is arrested after minor crash Saturday night, police say.

A Huntington Station man was arrested Saturday night after police say he was driving drunk and involved in a minor crash with his two young children in the car. 

According to police, Duhaney Duncan, 42, was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup westbound on the shoulder of Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at 7:55 p.m. when he struck a Nissan minivan that was parked in front of the Brooklyn Pizza restaurant, located at 881 Jericho Turnpike. 

Duncan and his two children, ages 1 and 2, were not injured, police said.

Duncan is charged with aggravated DWI with a child 15 years old or younger–a felony under Leandra's Law, DWI, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Duncan was being held at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.

The children were released to their mother.
