UPDATE: Missing Teen Returns Home Unharmed

Nancy Meta Rodriguez, 16, was last seen Sunday morning.

Update (Thursday 7 a.m.): Police say Rodriguez returned home unharmed at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police did not say where Rodriguez had been.

Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a Huntington Station teenager who was reported missing on Sunday.

A family member of Nancy Meta Rodriguez, 16, reported her missing on March 30 at about 8 p.m. Rodriguez was last seen that morning around 10:30 a.m.

Rodriguez is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-2, approximately 145 pounds with long straight brown hair. Police said may be in the Far Rockaway area. Rodriguez has been in the United States for two months and does not speak English, police said. 

Anyone with information about Rodriguez is asked to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
