Men Wanted in Sunglasses Theft

Suffolk police say pair took items worth $700.

Suffolk County police are looking for two men who took merchandise from the London Optical Store in Huntington.

The thefts occurred Aug. 21 at the store at 281 Main St.

Police said the two men entered London Optical and, while one distracted the salesperson, the other man took four pairs of Rayban sunglasses, valued at $700, from a display case and left the store without paying.

 The first man is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 5’10” tall, 220 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt and denim shorts. The second subject is described as a black male, approximately 45-50 years old, 6’4” tall, 200 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt, tan shorts, tan baseball hat, eyeglasses, and white Nike sneakers with a tan stripe.
