Melville Man Killed After Car Hits Pole in Huntington

Mark Tully, 21, dies in early Sunday morning crash.

A 21-year-old Melville man was killed early Sunday morning in a single-car crash in Huntington, police said.

Mark Tully was driving his 2003 Infiniti southbound on West Neck Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a telephone pole and a tree north of Penataquit Place at 3:45 a.m., police said.

Tully, a 2008 graduate of , was transported to , where he was pronounced dead at 7:30 a.m.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
