Man Wanted in Sunglasses Theft
Suffolk police say items worth $2,500 taken from Whitman mall.
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking a man who stole sunglasses from a South Huntington store.
A man entered Sunglass Hut at Walt Whitman Shops and stole eight pairs of sunglasses, valued at nearly $2,500 on July 2 at 12:30 p.m., police said. The sunglass brands were Gucci, Burberry and Dolce and Gabbana.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
