Man Wanted in Gas Station Burglary

Rewarded offered for break-in at Sunoco station.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are looking for a man who burglarized a gas station in Huntington earlier this month.

A man broke the front door of the Sunoco station at 160 New York Ave., on Oct. 2 and entered the business at approximately 2 a.m. While inside, the man stole numerous packs of cigarettes and put the items into a two-toned colored backpack and fled. 

The suspect was described as white, in his 20s with a thin build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
