Man Wanted for Damage at Gas Station

Reward offered for arrest in attack on equipment.

Suffolk County police are looking for a man who damaged a cash register at a gas station in Huntington Station.

The incident occurred June 28 at 12:54 a.m.

Police said the man punched the register and broke the cover and scanner at the USA Gas Station,  at 1290 New York Ave.

The man was described as black, in his mid 20s, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black hat. 

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
