Man Shot in Huntington Station

Police say victim was shot in chest, leg on Railroad Street.

A man was shot Tuesday night on Railroad Street in Huntington Station.

Suffolk County Police said they received a call at 7:34 p.m. about a shooting. They said a 27-year-old man was shot in the chest and leg in front of 27 Railroad St.  

He was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable (non-life-threatening) condition, police said.

The street was blocked off between Lowndes Avenue and Mckay Road during the police investigation.

No further details were immediately available.
