Man Hurt in Fall from Tree

A man trimming a tree Thursday afternoon was injured after he fell 10 to 15 feet, the Huntington Community First Aid Squad said.

The unidentified worker had been hired to trim a tree on Sixth Avenue but other workers at the site said he was working without safety equipment.

He was treated on the scene for cuts  to the head, and head, neck and chest injuries.  HCFAS took the 42-year-old man to Huntington Hospital in serious but stable condition.
