Cops: Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured in…

Man Found Dead on Station Street

Police found him following a 911 call.

Suffolk police are investigating the shooting death of a Huntington Station man early this morning.

Second Precinct police officers responded to the corner of Foxwood Drive East and Clifford Court in Huntington Station, located north of Jericho Turnpike and south of Pulaski Road, after a 911 caller reported a man lying in the street.

When officers arrived, they found Robert Sanders had been shot. Sanders, 27, of 38A Clifford Court, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Kim, How the F does Avalon Clean up HS. Did you smoke some crack over the 4th or are you snorting gunpowder either way check your self into the hospital for tests, my god.

What you guys dont seem to understand is that the new residents of Avalon will help to run out the criminals! Read up on how gentrification of an area gets done!

I can see it now: "Transit Oriented commuters raped, shot and mugged walking to train station" Still awaiting for new Avalon Bay residents to "run out the criminals" from HS! Lets put 944 people in an already overcrowded community with multiple problems and see how that fixes things right up. Yessir, that will solve everything, right Matt?
