The driver charged in a car accident that cost a Huntington man his leg is due in court Monday.
James Kavanagh, 22, of West Babylon, is charged with operating a motor vehicle while his ability was impaired by drugs.
He is accused in the accident that cost Raymond Card, 48, his left leg.
Police said Card was driving his 2000 Yamaha motorcycle north on Belmont Avenue in West Babylon when he was struck at the intersection of Van Buren Street.
Kavanagh is scheduled to appear in Suffolk First District Court.
