Huntington Woman Arrested for Bank Robbery
Suffolk Police charge Huntington woman in connection with Tuesday's bank heist in Deer Park.
It took Suffolk County Police less than 48 hours to apprehend the alleged robber of the in Deer Park.
Police charged Jennifer Crawford, 41, of Huntington, with one count of third degree robbery in connection with .
Police said the robber, wearing a black baseball cap, sun glasses and rubber gloves, approached a teller and announced a robbery. The teller handed over cash and the robber fled on foot Tuesday at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Police declined to say what led to Crawford's arrest Thursday. She lives off Park Avenue, less than seven miles from the bank.
Crawford will be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
