Huntington Station Man Critically Injured in Wave Runner Accident
Roldando Moreno was on a wave runner when it crashed into a boat Sunday evening, police say.
A Huntington Station man is in critical condition after the wave runner he was riding Sunday crashed into a boat in the Great South Bay, police said.
According to police, Roldando Moreno, 45, was riding a Yamaha WaveRunner in the Lindenhurst cut of the Great South Bay when he jumped the wake from a boat and crashed into a 23-foot Chapparal boat at about 5:25 p.m.

Moreno was transported to shore by another boater and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was admitted in critical condition, police said. No one on the boat was injured.

Police are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
