Huntington Manor firefighters responded to a basement fire at this home at 48 East Rogues Path in Huntington Station around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Chief Frank McQuade said no one was home at the time and there were no reported injuries. Huntington Manor was assisted at the scene by volunteers from the Greenlawn Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad stood by with an ambulance.

Town of Huntington Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of the blaze which does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

There was a major accident. I was told that a man was riding a bicycle and he went right in front of a car. Caused major road closing. No word on status of victim yet.

Lots of illegals on bikes in Huntington Station, 24 hours a day.

How does MK Smith have access to the immigration status of random bike riders in the Station? Or is he/she referring to something else with the term " illegal"?
