Huntington Man Accused in Shooting

West Hempstead nightclub employees wounded.

A Huntington man was arrested Sunday in the shooting of two nightclub employees in West Hempstead.

According to detectives, two workers were shot at the Tabu night club at 514 Hempstead Tpke. 

Justin Lewis, 22, of 52 Lantern St., Huntington was asked to leave the club, police said, but returned with a gun and fired two shots.

Lewis was later arrested by Fifth Precinct Police Officers in a parking lot.

One victim was injured in the abdomen and the other victim was injured in the neck area.

Both victims were treated at a local hospital.

Lewis was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, criminal use of a firearm, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
