Truck Slams into Jericho Turnpike Storefront

Two sent to hospital after Thursday afternoon crash, say police.

A pickup truck and a sedan collided on East Jericho Turnpike near Engelke Ave Thursday afternoon, say Suffolk Police.

The pickup truck slammed into the storefront of Coin Galleries of Oyster Bay.  Coin Galleries of Oyster Bay is right next to Tattoo Lou's which just recently reopened after repairing its store front which was destroyed when a car crashed into it last year.

Another accident ocurred near this location in January.

Both drivers were transported to Huntington Hospital with various injuries. The driver of the sedan had to be cut out of the vehicle by Huntington Manor FD.
