Four Arrested For Serving To Minors

Blank Lantern Lounge and Bel Posto employees targeted in a New York State Liquor Authority operation.

Four people were arrested following a State Liquor Authority inspection at the Black Lantern Lounge and the Bel Posto early Saturday.

After complaints from the community, Suffolk County police and Community Oriented Police Enforcement patrol officers conducted SLA inspections before arresting two people at each bar, according to police.

Melissa Bishop, 25, of Huntington Station; Cindy Ann Digiuseppi, 35, of New Hyde Park; Anthony Basile, 28, of Brightwater; and Giuseppe Iannucci, 28, of Westbury were arrested and charged with unlawfully dealing with a child first degree for serving alcohol to a minor.

Each is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip Oct. 3.

Both establishments were cited by the Fire Marshal and the Town of Huntington for various violations, according to police.
