This is in Greenlawn, not Huntington.

No,, it's Huntington on the west side of the road, which is where the accident occurred. Across the street, it's Greenlawn.

Jim, that was my initial reaction yesterday. Pam might be right. Incidentally, the Village Tattler is reporting it as Greenlawn!

Hi, Charlie, that area, as far west as Park Avenue, is in the Greenlawn Census area; however, the ZIP Code and thus mailing and mapping address, puts it in Huntington. Google sometimes claims areas west of Park are Greenlawn, too, as do the police, but we follow the map, GPS and ZIP code. It's the Greenlawn FD district, so maybe that's why others call it Greenlawn. Many of the addresses on the east side of the road use Greenlawn as an address but not on the west side.

If was on the east side of the road, that would be Elwood. If it was on the south or north side of the road, everyone's GPS would have froze creating havoc not seen since all of it used be pickle farms in Old Fields. F2B...me .

Not according to the USPS. It's Greenlawn, as it is a bit east, to the Chauser, for example.

If they look hard enough they'll find some outlier who again might say that up is down and down is up. But the peer reviewed scientific consensus just simply disagrees with that. .

I just looked at the map. It's the most ridiculous zip code mapping I've seen: http://www.zipmaps.net/zips/11740.htm Why not set the map all the way to Little Plains up to Manor? Whoever came up with this zip code mapping should be fired!

You are absolutely right, Jim. Now, I see how I was mistaken. And what's with that little strip between Shady La. and Butterfield!
