Fire Department to Run Hurricane Benefit

Huntington Manor to accept clothing and other donations for families hit by storm.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department is taking donations for those hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

Donors can drop off items at the fire house at 1650 New York Ave., Huntington Station, on Thursday, from noon to 9 p.m.

The department will accept donations of items for all ages, includiing gently used clothing, such as coats, hats and gloves, plus toys, diapers, wipes, etc. No food wil be accepted.
