Northport

 A man suspected of six bank robberies was arrested by Suffolk County police Friday.

Michael Walsh, 58, of East Elmhurst, Queens was charged him with two counts of first degree robbery. He is suspected in bank robberies in Suffolk, Nassau and upstate, including one in Northport and another in East Northport.

Christopher Cipoletti, 26, of East Northport, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with third degree robbery and fourth degree attempted grand larceny.

Police say Cipoletti jumped into the passenger side of a car at the  drive thru ATM, located at 271 Larkfield Road in East Northport. The bandit claimed he had a gun before making off on foot with cash from a woman who was withdrawing money.

Cipoletti was also implicated in an unsuccessful robbery attempt on the same day of a man making a withdrawal from the ATM at  at 385 Larkfield Road. 

Half Hollow Hills

Suffolk County police said that evicted tenants broke into an apartment on July 21 and that a mailbox was destroyed.

 Kings Park

Liana Elfiky, 21, of Kings Park was arrested July 20 in Kings Park and charged with resisting arrest and harassment. Police said Elfiky shoved an unknown person into a driveway causing injury. Reports also state she struggled with police when officers arrived. The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m.

Babylon Village

For the second time in two weeks, and third time in seven months, the Capital One Bank in Babylon Village was robbed Saturday afternoon, police said.

A male entered the Little East Neck Road bank building about 2 p.m. and demanded cash at a teller’s window. The teller complied and the robber fled on foot through a rear entrance, police said.

The suspect is described as a thin-built male, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, 50 years old and wearing a dark blue Yankees hat, sunglasses, a blue pullover shirt and jeans.

On July 16, the same bank was robbed in mid day.
